TAISEN

      As much as possible I try to be an active participant in the places I visit. Its my favorite way to travel.  Sharing music is my way of contributing to the local cultural and social life as well as a way of giving back a piece of all the kindness and hospitality I receive. I am a visitor, yes, but an actor whenever possible.  This project is based on that exchange.

Along my journey I often cross other artists who I invite to join me on stage. Improvising live with these musicians is itself part of my journey. It is by creating something ephemeral that only exists for an evening that these encounters are made all the more rare and precious. We receive as much as we give.
